Who are the top 5 greatest basketball players of all time?

That’s a question that’s tough to answer. It’s also a question that has no one, real, absolutely determined answer. It seems every basketball fan, sportscaster, analyzer, and expert has their own personal opinion. Of course, that’s only to be expected, especially when you take into account home-team favorites and natural team biases. Nevertheless, by comparing lists that have come before you can begin to at least scratch the surface and come up with some reasonable idea of who the top 5 greatest basketball players of all time are.

Basketball’s Top 5 Greatest Players

Magic Johnson – It seems there’s not a list anywhere that leaves Magic Johnson off the list of basketballs’ tops of all time. Likely somewhere there is, but seriously, take a look around; there are not many who would dispute his place in this prestigious crowd.
Larry Bird – Nor would many dispute the inclusion of the former Celtic, Larry Bird. Admittedly he doesn’t make every top 5 players list, and often that is because some think him not enough of an all-around athletic power. Still, his pure shooting ability puts him in a class where only the best shall reign, and his seat in basketball history is secure. Add to that his reputation as a leader and a great team-player, and there is little question left as to whether or not he can fit in at the top.
Michael Jordan – Do we sense a trend? True, a good number of these top basketball players come from an era of what might be considered a golden age for the sport. Or perhaps it’s just that when the likes of Larry, Michael, and Magic were playing alongside and against each other the sport seemed to have maintained a bit more maturity and class. Either way, those who could compete against the greatest must have been great themselves, no? And seeing that many say Jordan dominated that talent-filled field, it would be remiss to leave him off the list.
Julius Erving – A man who left his mark on the sport as a game-changer, and quite arguably ushered in a new era of play, changing the game itself. Considered the “author” of the “Baseline Move,” Dr. J left the sport with as much as he gave, racking up multiple well-deserved MVP’s and titles.
Kobe Bryant – Just to show that we can still appreciate the game, let’s throw a relative newcomer into the list. And who tops the lists of the more recent MBA players? Kobe Bryant. He may not be everyone’s all-time favorite, and he may not even be the undisputable #1 player of the game today, but he is a man whose talents can be appreciated by aficionados of the game, and one who is repeatedly found on top players’ lists.
Realistically speaking, it’s nearly impossible to narrow a list of basketball’s greatest players down to just 5, or even 10 or 20. Such a game with such a diversity of players and a diversity of unique strengths and talents leaves the question up for some definite debate. Here’s 5 of the greatest to be considered for sure. Who would you add to the list?

In our society, ideas about gender differences are changing rapidly. The changes are especially marked in the areas of “gender-appropriate” roles and interests. During the 1950s, when your authors were in undergraduate school, one of them could not be on the debate team because she was female and this activity was deemed more useful for males, who were more likely to become lawyers or politicians and thus would benefit more from the experience. During that same period, Life magazine interviewed five (male) psychiatrists who suggested that women’s ambitions were the “root of mental illness in wives, emotional upset in husbands, and homosexuality in boys.”25 As late as 1981, this same publication introduced the first female Supreme Court justice, Sandra Day O’Connor, with the headline, “President Goes A-Courtin’“•26
Some of the greatest changes in gender differences have been in education and work. In 1950, only 24 percent of all college degrees went to women; 1994, women earned 53 percent of all degrees awarded.27 In 1962, 43 percent of females between the ages of twenty-five and fifty-four were in the labor force; by 1990, this was up to 75 percent. Between 1980 and 1990 the number of female professionals rose 100 percent and the number of female managers just about doubled. These changes in education and work are beginning
show up in changes in women’s perceived leadership potential.

Before you actually write the e-book we are going to write the sales letter first. Now I suggest you write it in Microsoft Word and save it. Then we can transfer it to the main “Sales site Page” when we are designing our basic site in step 5

The main reason we are writing our sales copy before we ever write a word in our e-Book is because it hasn’t actually being created yet, which means there is absolutely no limit what you can write in your sales letter. The sales letter doesn’t fit the e-Book; it’s the other way around.

Now you can describe exactly what your e-Book will show to the potential customer. There are no restrictions on what you can write in the sales letter. When the sales letter is completed you can then incorporate all the ideas you have come up with into your e-Book

Your sales copy must do the following three things

• Get the attention of the prospects
• Communicate the benefits of the product
• Persuade the prospects into the desired action

Remember the most important part of your page design is your actual sales copy. A fancy website and graphics help but the key is in the words used

Sales letter Structure

• Header/Title
• Promises
• Testimonial
• Info product
• Benefit
• Bonuses
• Guarantee
• Summary

This is the structure that you should use for your sales copy. If you check out the best sales letter they will all follow this formula?

Header

The main function of the header/title is to grab the reader’s attention. The header should be displayed in a large, bold font. This demands your potential customer’s attention and intrigues them to read further on. Include your logo or e-Book cover (discussed later on) close to the header. If you header is not well designed you run the risk of losing the potential customer straight away. Spend time creating your header.

A Promise

This section promises the potential customer a huge benefit which is almost too good to be true. It’s ok if it’s a bit too unbelievable the testimonials will take care of that. Here is an example of such a headline

Discover how my 5 step affiliate programme can increase your income by 10,000 a month

Testimonials

In this section you include testimonials that old/new customers have sent you about your product or service. You probably don’t have any customers yet so email some potential ones your e-book for free in exchange for a testimonial. When you do start selling you can always ask a new customer for one.

Now the testimonials page has assured the potential customer that you can fulfil the promises you made in your header also you have gained a bit of trust from your potential customers so anything else you say that follows the testimonials page will be taken as true. This is the reason why the testimonial is placed at the top to gain trust right away where if it was placed at the bottom after presenting some good sales copy it may be already too late.

Info and product

In this section you will give info on what your product or service is about. You should show your customers a list of problems in this area. Agree with the customers, on how frustrating these problems can be and how you, yourself dealt with these problems. The key is to show the person that you have a deep understanding in this area and you are an expert on the subject. That is very important.

Next you must introduce your product as the solution to the problem. Then you must have a proper e-Book cover design. This is crucial. Many people have never purchased an e-book so you must give them some idea what exactly they will be purchasing

Benefit

This section is basically telling your potential customer of the benefits they will receive from purchasing your product. Show your potential customers the enjoyment they will get from using the product. Give them as much information on your product as you can. Use bullet points to emphasize the benefits. Put in another testimonial just to remind the person that it’s all true. Keeping their trust is highly important.

Bonuses

This is a powerful tactic used to increase sales. Including free bonuses with the purchase of your e-Book will increase the perceived value of the e-Book. Also a deadline on bonuses is also a good way to speed up consumer purchases. Bonuses also reduce the risk of money back returns

Guarantee

Offering a guarantee to your potential customers takes the risk off their shoulders. A good guarantee is the final bit in the jigsaw that will make the person finally purchase the product. The agreement is such that if the customer is not happy with their purchases then can get a full refund. You must remember that lots of your potential customers will be “first timers” therefore a guarantee puts their minds at ease. Guarantees can be 30 day, 60 day, or lifetime; however such guarantees must be backed up with an exceptional product.

Summary

This is one of the most important steps in the sales letter; this is where you close the sale. In this section you must include your most appealing benefit and finally ask for the order, because if you don’t they wont. Finally make it easier for them to order like an “order now” button shown below.

At this stage you should start to write your sales letter in Microsoft word we will concentrate on the html design and implementing the sales letter in it in section six but for now just concern yourself with writing your sales letter. You may want to check out this piece of software that actually writes the sales letter for you. All you do is answer the questions it asks and you will receive your sales letter. Credit card Transactions

Finally you will need to find a credit card processor later on so your e-Books can be ordered. The one I seriously recommend is Clickbank. Ill go into them in more detail in section 6 but for now I want you to know that all these company’s, including Clickbank, have a set of rules that you must abide by to use their software. Don’t panic ill go through these rules now. Basically it involves putting a certain amount of details in your sales letter and product delivery page so you can be accepted by your credit transaction company. So here they are:

You must provide on your sales page:

• Detailed description of your product
• Buy now link
• Explain how the product will be delivered
• Mention how long the delivery will take

* remember theses are rules not suggestions

So that is everything you need to know on how to write your sales letter, hers a quick summary

We need to:

• Write the sales letter before the e-Book
• Sales letter structure must have , header, promise, Testimonial, info and product, benefit, bonuses, guarantee and summary
• You can have your sales letter made by Sales letter generator
• Certain set of rules should be included in the sales letter for the purpose of the credit card transaction company

It’s time to get excited about what your house can be. Frustration may have started you on the road to change, but excitement will take you even farther than you ever dreamed you could go. You can’t go with your everyday life as passes by, where you haven’t gone in your dreams. When you start daydreaming when there’s nothing to do. Thinking things in details and after thinking sometimes this is where you start to think of a plan. You can stimulate your dreaming by looking around at the lives of your friends and relatives you admire the most, the ones who really seem to have their act together. Think back on how your mother did things. If that’s the life you want for yourself. Read decorating magazines. You can look for house brochures where you can see house models for open houses. Try to see, feel smell what you want your house to be.

Combining colors in particular ways can convey subtle nuances of meaning. An analogous color scheme uses colors that are adjacent on the cob:
wheel, such as green, blue-green, and blue. Although this type of cobo’ scheme shows the differences among the components represented, it also suggests their connection and compatibility. For example, a pie graph could use analogous colors to represent the students, faculty, and administration c.f a university. The different colors suggest that these parts are indeed separate but the analogous color scheme and the inclusion of these parts within circle imply that they belong together. In this subtle way, the presentation aid itself makes the statement that the components of a university ought t:
work together.

A complementary color scheme uses colors that are opposites on tt color wheel, such as red and green. Complementary color schemes suggest tension and opposition among elements in a speech. Because they heighten the sense of drama, they may enliven informative speaking and encourage change in persuasive speaking.
The colors you use for text should always stand out from the background of your presentation aid. With poster board, it is best to use a white or cream- colored board and strong primary colors such as red, blue, and green, for contrast. For slides or projections, a light background can create glare. Therefore. you might want to use a strong primary color for the background and have the text or other graphic elements printed in white. Color contrast is especially important for computer-generated slides and transparencies, because the colors may wash out and appear less distinct when projected than they & when seen on a monitor. Colors like pink, light blue, and pale yellow may nx be strong enough for good graphic emphasis in any type of presentation aid.

To prepare hand-made charts, graphs, or other poster and flip-chart aids, begin with a rough draft that allows you to see how your aid will look when It is finished. If you will be using poster board, prepare your draft on cheaper paper of the same size. With a light pencil, mark off the margins to fraction your aid. Divide your planning sheet into four equal sections to help you balance the placement of material. Use a wide-tipped felt-tip marker to sketch in your design and words. Now step back to view your presentation aid from about the same distance as the back row of your audience. Will your most distant listeners be able to read the words without straining? Is everything spelled correctly? Is your eye drawn immediately to the most important elements in the poster? Have you positioned your material so that it will be most effective? Is the poster balanced, or does it look lopsided? Once you are satisfied with your rough draft of the aid, construct the final product using stick-on letters and numbers.

Do your homework every day with interest. Keep in mind that you are doing it for yourself. Read the assigned selection or chapter with understanding and take down your notes on what you consider important. Make sure you have enough time for your homework so that you do not go to sleep too late. Let your dictionary, thesaurus or encyclopedia help you with technical or foreign sounding terms or phrases. Never come to class unprepared. Answer the questions in your assignment or homework exactly as they are asked. Add further information which you manage to gather as you study, if you wish. Carry the summary of the lesson in your mind so you can recite it without looking at your notes and in your own words. Your teacher will be pleased with effort. And it will be to your advantage to read your textbook before classes begin in order to establish familiarity with the topic. And you can research new words and read surely impress your teacher and give you good grades which in turn motivate you to do even better.

Don’t try to crowd too much information into a single presentation aid. Are your margins and borders large enough to provide ample “white space”? Is there anything you can eliminate? If the poster looks cluttered, consider making a series of presentation aids instead of just one.
If you use computer-generated graphics to produce slides, transparencies, or handouts, experiment with several different designs. Don’t get so caught up with what the program can do that you try to incorporate everything into a single presentation aid. If you do, you will wind up with something that is so “busy” that it will detract from your message, rather than enhance it. Be consistent in the use of background color and fonts. Simplicity should be your rule of thumb.

One of the most powerful and persistent motive appeals in the student speeches we heard was the need for self-actualization. When we self-actualize, we realize our potential for growth and success, and we strive to become the better selves we can imagine. Perhaps it is not surprising to find that self-actualization has so high a priority among the needs of college students. As young adults, they stand on the threshold of self-actualization. As college students, they are part of a privileged population, the most able and promising. They are prime candidates for self-actualization. For this reason, self-actualization seems to tie together a number of other personal needs, including the needs for self-esteem, independence, success, and recognition.
